Please join Library & Learning Resources and the Division of Behavioral & Social Sciences as we welcome Dr. Alison Rose Jefferson to speak on campus Thursday, April 21st at 1:15 pm in the East Dining Room. The lecture is titled Re-inserting the African American Experience into the South Bay History of Los Angeles County. Dr. Jefferson will talk about the 1920s Gordon Manor residential project, an African American neighborhood once slated for the land El Camino College now occupies.
